All persons applying for registration with the SDTA must have successfully completed an educational program in dental therapy recognized by the SDTA council, pay the prescribed fee as indicated on the registration application and be of good character. They must also provided evidence that they are applying for registration within three (3) years of graduation or have legally provided dental therapy services for at least 60 days in the last 5 year period. |

To maintain registration, members must hold a Full Membership (licence) or a Non-Practicing membership. When applying for a full membership (license) or a non-practicing membership, dental therapists must be registered in accordance with the Dental Disciplines Act and SDTA bylaws and pay the fee as indicated on the membership application. If you are on or will be going on maternity leave, retiring or any other type of leave, please contact the Executive Director, Cindy G. Reed, as soon as possible. |
The 2012 membership year will be February 1, 2012 to January 31, 2013. |
